It is approx. 2 miles north of Interstate 44 to Farm Road 88 – Make a right onto Farm Road 88. Follow it around until it becomes Farm Road 169. It will take you right to the church – on the west side of the road.)

Meeting Times: Sundays: 8:45 am Fellowship, 9:00 am Life Groups, AWANA, Kid’s Crossing, Soul’d Out Teens; 10:15 am Worship Service, Kids Church – We do have a nursery available.  We also meet informally on Wednesday nights at 6:30. There is no Wednesday meal at this time.

Meet our Pastors:

Lead Pastor: David Garrison and wife, Connie

David and Connie live west of Springfield, MO, by the airport. David has been involved on church staffs for 41 years. He is currently in his third church as lead pastor. David has served in churches in Texas and Missouri. He is currently working on his masters from Liberty University. David and Connie have two children and twelve grandchildren. They both have a passion for sharing Jesus and helping others find a fulfilling relationship with Him. Their caring spirit is catching, so catch it.

Associate Pastor: Michael Cotter and wife, Shelby

imageMichael and Shelby are both from the Springfield area. Married with 5 children, from grown adults to young children, they understand the struggle of balancing parenting and working life. Michael is a graduate of Evangel University and is currently working in the field of addiction counseling as well as serving at the Crossing Church. He has served in addiction or jail ministries for over 10 years working to help those who struggle understand the freedom that comes from a relationship with Jesus. He also ministers to the motorcycle community through participation in Covenant Motorcycle Ministries. Shelby is a stay at home mother/house manager who has homeschooled her children for the past 6 years with one who has successfully moved on to college. She has served in ministry since her childhood following in her parent’s footsteps who have also served in ministry for nearly all of her life. Her heart is for women and helping them deal with the daily struggle of balancing life and all of its demands.

Worship Leader: Savannah Garrison

Savannah GSavannah is 16 years old and one of many siblings. She was raised in a Christian background and still pursues it today. She grew up loving anything musical. At the age of four she started singing with her mom, aunt, and grandmother. At the age of eight she was introduced to the guitar. After many years of practice, she lead in the teen praise band at age 12, having played back-up guitar for the other worship leaders in the past. Not only does she love playing music, she loves children and has worked in the nursery and children’s department, and she has been in many Christmas plays at the church.
“My main goal as worship leader is to serve the Lord and others and show the people of the church the Lord through worship. I’m grateful for this wonderful opportunity and I’m honored to be your worship leader.”

DuckersYouth Pastor: Richard Ducker and wife, Kimberly

Richard and Kimberly were both born and raised in Springfield, Missouri.  They were married and started their family 24 years ago. The Duckers have four children and just recently welcomed a new daughter-in-law and two granddaughters to the family.  They own All About Kids Acadamy, a daycare in Springfield.  They have called The Crossing their home and served alongside their church family for six years.  They have served in the Children’s and Teen ministries, and have great passion for supporting and mentoring the next generation.
